Junior Flatbed Truck Dispatcher

Job Description:
Your key responsibility is to execute the daily processes and activities involved in all aspects of arranging the pick up and delivery of a truckload shipment. This multifaceted position requires your accountability in managing a group of drivers and executing dispatch functions, along with ensuring customer service commitments are being met.
DUTIES:
- Plan, book, and assist drivers in maximizing their earnings, while delivering a high level of customer service to our customers and brokers
- Maintain direct contact with drivers throughout the day
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers
- Communicate with freight brokers to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor company equipment, comply with maintenance and safety requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with the trucking industry required
- Familiarity with Flatbed equipment is preferred
- Must speak and write in English fluently
- Experience in OTR dispatch is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Professional attitude and team mindset
- The ability to handle difficult situations - to stay calm and make efficient & effective decisions quickly
- Experience with DAT, Internet Truckstop, and other load boards is a plus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00 pm CST or 2:00pm - 11:00 pm CET (Macedonian local time)
