HMD Trucking Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Trailer Mechanic to join our on-site repair and maintenance shop. Reporting to the Shop Director, the Trailer Mechanic will inspect, service and repair company owned trailers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ability to remove and replace subframe assembly.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and issues.
Remove and replace designated airlines, crossmembers, axle hub assemblies, mud flap brackets and dolly leg assemblies.
Ability to repair and replace flooring, doors and door gaskets.
Install exterior components of vents and manifest boxes.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trailers.
Strong knowledge of Semi-Trailers.
Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-Time , On Site

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday
6:00am - 4:00pm
Rotating Saturday availability required
