HMD Transport is currently seeking a highly motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join our brokerage team in Skopje.
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in building and managing carrier relationships, sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and supporting the movement of freight across North America. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys negotiation and problem-solving, and is eager to grow within the transportation industry.

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in building and managing carrier relationships, sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and supporting the movement of freight across North America. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys negotiation and problem-solving, and is eager to grow within the transportation industry.
What Kind of Candidate Are We Looking For?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the U.S. trucking industry as a Broker or Dispatcher.
- Strong understanding of U.S. geography, transportation networks, and market dynamics.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, motivated, and solution-oriented individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and book freight with carrier companies while negotiating competitive market rates.
- Collaborate with Customer Sales Representatives to provide accurate and competitive pricing to customers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, seasonality, and capacity conditions.
- Build and grow a strong carrier network through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic carrier and broker relationships.
- Ensure all freight documentation is properly completed and approved prior to shipment.
- Support shipment tracking and tracing alongside operations team members.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure high-quality customer service and operational execution.
