Position Overview:
HMD Transport is currently seeking a highly motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join our brokerage team in Skopje.
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in building and managing carrier relationships, sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and supporting the movement of freight across North America. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys negotiation and problem-solving, and is eager to grow within the transportation industry.

What Kind of Candidate Are We Looking For?

Minimum 2 years of experience in the U.S. trucking industry as a Broker or Dispatcher.
Strong understanding of U.S. geography, transportation networks, and market dynamics.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, motivated, and solution-oriented individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and book freight with carrier companies while negotiating competitive market rates.
Collaborate with Customer Sales Representatives to provide accurate and competitive pricing to customers.
Monitor and analyze market trends, seasonality, and capacity conditions.
Build and grow a strong carrier network through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
Develop and maintain long-term strategic carrier and broker relationships.
Ensure all freight documentation is properly completed and approved prior to shipment.
Support shipment tracking and tracing alongside operations team members.
Work collaboratively across departments to ensure high-quality customer service and operational execution.
